When you enter a name, phone number, or address in a search form, that entry goes to the third-party provider responsible for the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of the search. If you send us a message, we receive the details you decide to provide and use them solely to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs, including IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review this information in the aggregate to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable technologies may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
The information described above helps us operate the service, troubleshoot errors, assess traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to government portals, Pierce County and Washington records offices, library collections, or outside search tools. Information submitted on those services is controlled by their privacy terms rather than this policy. The same rule applies to sponsored search results, which an independent company provides.
Parties That Process Data
Companies that host or support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatically collected information already described. We disclose data when valid legal process compels us to do so, but do not otherwise share visitor information.
Safeguarding Your Information
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are kept only for as long as the stated uses require. Because there are no user accounts, this service does not hold a password or account profile belonging to you.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor supplied such information, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Rights
Your location and the kind of information involved may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, provides specific rights for covered consumer health data; it is not a general right to erase government identity records. Because we retain little information, most requests involve checking our contact mailbox and server logs and deleting what is found. Submit a request through the Contact page. Public records maintained by Lakewood, Pierce County, or Washington agencies remain under the relevant custodian's control, so requests about those records must go to that office.
